π§Ύ Ingredients
- 2 lbs (900 g) ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Β½ cup mozzarella cheese
- 6β8 strips bacon
- Β½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp onion powder (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
π©βπ³ Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 190Β°C (375Β°F) and line a baking tray or loaf pan with parchment paper.
2. Prepare Meat Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined (donβt overmix).
3. Shape the Meatloaf
Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on the prepared tray or in a loaf pan.
4. Add Bacon Topping
Lay bacon strips over the top of the meatloaf, slightly overlapping to cover completely.
5. Bake
Bake for 45β55 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and bacon is crispy.
6. Rest & Serve
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
